Overall

It had been the most excited part of the school when we prepare the drama. It’s start from the script, actually script writer are the one who have the big role. Because they must discuss and plan the whole story well others just gave feedback. After script is done, we are dividing into some division, like director, music, properties, and costume. At first time, we concentrate with our own job. Especially costume, costume must finish as fast as they can. In this drama, we don’t borrow the costume, but we made it. Therefore we made the design, searched the fabric, until then we bring it to the tailor. It’s one of the excited parts too and one of our new experience, because we never made our dress ourselves.

The properties. Most of our classmates are lazy to help the properties division. Until less than one week before the d-day, all of our classmates helped to make the backdrop and other supported properties. The remarkable memories are when we are making the backdrop of Mount Olympus. We draw and paint the Mount Olympus with wall paint on the fabric. Therefore, the floor underneath are dirt and full of paint. As a consequence and guiltiness to the office boy, we clean the floor together. We use our hands and fabric for cleaning the floor. All of us are helping one another, and so the floor is clean faster. Even we are tired, but we have the most wonderful time with our classmates.

One day before the d-day, we practice until about nine o’clock. At first time, some of our classmates are emotional because we are not cooperating properly. Over time, we start to cooperate so the rehearsal is going well. And finally, the d-day!! Surely we are nervous. Nervous to forget the line, nervous if our drama is not good, nervous if we doing something fool and others. But our director start to settle us down so we put our best performance. “We are here not to bring down other classes, but to defeat ourselves!” , that’s what our director said before we perform. Unforget, we pray and wishes for the bless to God. After the drama is finish, we are relieved. We have so much fun with our classmates!!!

Synopsis

The story started from the death of Aphrodite. There’s 3 fugitives, Syd, Percy, and Hercules. But the true killers of Aphrodite is not them. Therefore, they run away from the police and the detectives. On the way escaping from police and detectives, they met many people that help them. Among them is, Dionsyus, the drunker, provide money for them. Beside Dionsyus, they met Haephesus, the crippled baby, that provide weapons. And finally they met Hermes. Hermes, the messenger, she deceive them to the Ortygia, house of Apollo and Artemis, God of medicine. In this place, Syd, Hercules, and Percy met Triton, Percy’s brother. It turns out that, Triton is the killer of Aphrodite. Apollo and Artemis, that hear the conversation of them, called the police right away. Finally, Triton was arrested and, Syd and Hercules have married and have six child. Percy, friends of Hercules, made up with Hestia.

Characters

There are about 20 characters in our drama that come from the goddess and goddesses. Before the script writers make the story of the drama, they do some research for the characters. And for the characters, the players must explore the real personality of the characters, so writers give players some note, what player must practice about the characters.

Main characters : Syd, Percy, Hercules, Triton

Others : Hercules, Hera, Poseidon, Maya, Hades, Persephone, Aphrodite, Detectives ( Ares, Hestia, Athena), Dionsyus, Hermes, Haephesus, Water fairies, Apollo, Artemis, and the guards.

Supported Properties

Besides backdrop, we made a few supported properties like cave, home, pillar and bow and etc. We made frame of the cave from bamboo and cover it with used paper, then we paint it with black wall paint. And for the home, it made up from  triplex, we not made it ourself but we buy it from senior. For the pillar, there’s 4 pillar we used in this drama. 2 for Mount Olympus scene, and the 2 others for the door decoration. Pillar for the Mount Olympus scene, we made the frame from bamboo too, and cover it with cardboard. After we cover it with cardboard, the pillar is covered by toilet paper and pint it with golden paint wall. Otherwise with pillar for the door decoration, we made it from cardboard. We do not cover it or paint it to make it look vintage. For the small properties like bow and sword, we made it from cardboard and cover it with fabric.

And… ANOTHER AWARD! ~(˘▽˘~)(~˘▽˘)~

We were screaming for joy when we got the award for the class with best costume. The awards kept running. Best actor, best actress, best director, and then… THE BEST SCRIPT WRITERS GOES TO… X6! Owwyeaaah.. Best costume and best script writers woohoo.. I must admit, our script writers are the best. Thanks to Natasha and Natasha, both Natashas so smart so talented. YEAY GO X6!

Cheers to the Award! Evíva \(´▽`)/

It was a fast morning assembly lead by Pak Marcel. Today they announced winners for the drama. We were optimistic we would win something, we know we would. Sir Wayan called out plenty names of winners. Finally he called out the winner for the best costume was X6! Shout of joy everywhere. We were so happy about it. We deserved to have the title BEST COSTUME because we really designed our own Greek dresses and robes. We really put effort into it, SO GLAD WE WON! Even minutes before the performance we lost one of our character’s costume. The situation was hectic and we didn’t have much time. So to outsmart the situation we used leftover cloth from the backdrop and tied the cloth such that it would look like a Greek robe. Thank God it worked! Thanks to Jessica Loekmanhadi, Novianti Winata, and Maria Tiffany Santosa who worked hard for our costumes.
